Bear Bag Checklist

 Did you include?
  1. All food items, including:
    • Snacks (jerky, gorp, granola, dried fruit, chocolate/power bars...)
    • Empty food containers
  2. Garbage which has food smells:
    • Empty food packaging
    • Ziplocs which have contained food
  3. Toiletries:
    • Toothpaste
    • Deodorant
    • Soap & Shampoo
    • Lip Balm
    • Sunscreen
  4. Cookware: If not washed thoroughly
  5. Clothing with food stains/spills
Remember: Bag it and hang it whenever you leave the campsite at all or whenever you enter your tent for an extended period of time. This includes afternoon snoozes.
