Peanut Butter Balls

Peanut Butter Macaroon Balls

 

At Home:

  Ingredients Metric  Standard
  Peanut Butter 250 ml 1 cup
  Honey 50 ml 1/4 cup
  Skim Milk Powder 50 ml 1/4 cup
  Cocoanut 500 ml 2 cups
  Carob Powder or Cocoa Powder 30 ml 1/4 cup
  Toasted Sesame Seeds or Chopped Almonds    
 

Instructions:

  • Over low heat melt peanut butter and honey in a saucepan.
  • When melted, remove from heat.
  • Add milk powder.
  • Stir in cocoanut and cocoa/carob powder
  • Mix well, using your hands.
  • Shape into balls.
  • Roll in toasted sesame seeds, toasted almonds, or cocoanut.
  • Optional:  Dip balls in melted chocolate.
  • Store in ziploc bags and place in freezer until ready to use.
